Art

This year I intend to do some serious stash-busting, so I've prepped a bunch of older patterned papers with white gesso to have on hand for use as light-coloured bases to work on.  For this layout I didn't add anything else to the background because I like the washed-out effect:

My layout was inspired by the monochrome challenge at Off the Rails Scrapbooking.  I chose the light green palette and kept my design very simple to keep the focus on the photograph.

One piece of patterned paper (Cosmo Cricket Material Girl - Measuring Up), one photograph, and a tag that I made last year.   (Finally found a use for the tag!!)

Thank you for visiting my blog!

  2. What a sweet page. I love that you've kept it simple and let the elements speak for themselves. The tag is great and I love the addition of the stitching. Thanks for joining in at Off the Rails Scrapbooking.
